However, it says the beta driver expires August 1, 2003, to be replaced by a finalized driver. The beta drivers are for the Audigy only, not the Audigy2. Well it's August 11, 2003 today and when I check the Creative website the latest driver is listed as May 9, 2003. Is that the finalized version of the beta?

Is there much of a performance increase if I installed a Creative Audigy 2 ZS PCI sound card as part of an overall upgrade of my PC? My only gripe is it was nice to just use the "web package" all-in-one drivers for the Live while the Audigy2 needs a 2 CD installation, unavailable online. DON'T loose your CD's!
