Creative Audigy 2 Drivers

Is anybody aware of any drivers available that will work within 5308? Creative only appear to have drivers for 5270 which don't function correctly and on reinstallation destroyed my build completely.

Wow... try checking on the Creative website and see if there's anything there.

Only the 5270 release which caused me major grief. Has anybody tried using regular XP drivers, bit wary in case I shaft the system a second time!
Interestingly in Vista IE7 the Creative region selection works fine when trying to check out drivers but using IE7 under XP if you click on Europe nothing happens when list of European countries is expected.

Here is a work around for Audigy 2 Drivers offered by (Alex Stevens): Format HD and do a clean install. Use CD that came with the original Audigy card to install drivers. Then apply the Creative Audigy 2 vista Beta package for build 5270. -- -- Andre Windows Connect | http://www.windowsconnected.com Extended64 | http://www.extended64.com Blog | http://www.extended64.com/blogs/andre http://spaces.msn.com/members/adacosta

I've been using the modded Audigy 2 drivers for the last couple of weeks... when I reinstalled Vista yesterday, Vista didn't find any drivers during install... so after I got to the desktop, and it prompted for new device found, I pointed it to c:\drivers\audio and it found the drivers and installed them, no problem.
So... the drivers are there... install doesn't appear to be finding them... I guess... I thought Vista was wiping all files except those it backs up, e.g., \windows, \users, \programs... but I found some files that are mine, definitely not Vista's, in other folders other than the aforementioned folders, so maybe my previous installs of the modded drivers put those drivers in \drivers\audio... don't know...

These drivers don't work for build 5384, tried it 3 times.
